Das <\/span>neue internationale Animationsfestival des Flughafens Chitose<\/span><\/a> Es wurde 2014 erstmals als „ein Filmfestival, das nur am Flughafen stattfinden kann und das auf den gesamten Flughafen \u00fcbertragen werden kann“ er\u00f6ffnet. Die Veranstaltung feierte 2023 ihr 10-j\u00e4hriges Jubil\u00e4um. <\/span>Kanta Mochida wurde beauftragt, das <\/span>Er\u00f6ffnungsvideo zu diesem besonderen Anlass<\/span> zu produzieren.<\/p>

„Das Konzept des Videos bestand darin, den Gewinner des Filmfestivals durch den Spitzenpr\u00e4dator zu ersetzen. Es gibt verschiedene Tiere, wie L\u00f6wen und Adler, aber dieses Mal habe ich ein Krokodil als Motiv verwendet“, erkl\u00e4rt er. <\/span><\/p>

Da er in erster Linie Videoregisseur ist, bezeichnet sich Kanta nicht als 3D-Modellierungsspezialist, obwohl er die Grundlagen von 3D-CGI am College gelernt hat und seit fast 11 Jahren mit 3D-CGI- und DCC-Tools f\u00fcr Modellierung und Animation arbeitet. Seine prim\u00e4re Software ist Cinema4D<\/a>, die er f\u00fcr Modellierung, Animation und Rendering verwenden kann. Er entdeckte Shapelab im September 2023 und experimentiert seitdem mit der VR-Software. Die Charaktere und Modelle in diesem Projekt wurden alle in Shapelab modelliert. <\/span><\/p>

\u00dcber VR-Modellierung und Shapelab\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Auf die Frage, ob er die 3D-Modellierung in VR oder auf dem Desktop bevorzugt, antwortet Kanta: „Ich mag es, in VR zu modellieren, weil ich das Beste aus meiner Kunst herausholen kann.“ Es gibt mehrere Gr\u00fcnde, warum er Shapelab f\u00fcr die Produktion dieses Videos verwendet hat. Shapelab erm\u00f6glicht es ihm, mit seinen H\u00e4nden zu arbeiten und der Arbeit ein Tonanimationsgef\u00fchl zu verleihen. Er kann einfach und schnell die gew\u00fcnschten Formen erstellen, die sonst mit vorhandenen Modellierungswerkzeugen nur schwer zu erreichen sind. Laut Kanta reichen die Standardwerkzeuge von Shapelab aus, um hochwertige 3D-Modelle zu erstellen, und das Tentakel-Tool gef\u00e4llt ihm besonders gut. <\/span><\/p>

Dennoch k\u00f6nnte die 3D-Modellierung in VR etwas gew\u00f6hnungsbed\u00fcrftig sein, aber Kanta r\u00e4t Anf\u00e4ngern, f\u00fcr eine kurze Zeit weiterzumachen, um sich mit den Werkzeugen vertraut zu machen, bis sich die Verwendung wie das Modellieren mit Ton anf\u00fchlt, was dem Prozess viel Spa\u00df macht. <\/span><\/p>

Kanta arbeitet gerne in der virtuellen Realit\u00e4t, weil er beim Modeln beide H\u00e4nde benutzen kann. Mit der linken Hand kann das 3D-Modell gedreht werden, w\u00e4hrend Polygone hinzugef\u00fcgt und subtrahiert werden, was sich sehr realistisch anf\u00fchlt. Ihm zufolge besteht die einzige Herausforderung bei VR darin, das VR-Headset zu tragen, das bei langen Sculpting-Sessions unbequem werden k\u00f6nnte, aber Kanta freut sich auf die Entwicklung von Head-Mounted-Displays. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\u00dcber den Prozess sagt Kanta: „Einige Teile wurden Bild f\u00fcr Bild modelliert, um ein Stop-Motion-Gef\u00fchl zu erzeugen. Einige der spezifischen Bereiche wurden in Shapelab modelliert, wie z. B. die Animation des Festivallogos am Ende des Teasers. Die Hauptfigur, das Krokodil, wurde in Shapelab modelliert und in C4D geriggt und animiert. Houdini<\/a> wurde auch verwendet, um Animationen des Krokodils und des Flugzeugs zu erstellen, die sich wie Luftballons aufblasen. Das Endergebnis ist die Ausgabe mit OctaneRender<\/a>.“ <\/span><\/p>

Kanta Mochida wurde 1991 geboren und absolvierte den Studiengang Medienkunst an der Tama Art University Department of Information Design. Er ist Videoautor und freiberuflicher Generalist, der haupts\u00e4chlich Live-Action-Bilder und 3D-CG produziert. Dar\u00fcber hinaus schafft er interaktive Kunst und Installationen als Versuch, die Medien des Outputs der Videoarbeit zu erweitern. Er ist daran interessiert zu erforschen, wie digitaler und realer Raum miteinander verbunden sind. <\/span><\/p>
